Vanessa Leigh, Attorney

Vanessa Leigh is a Senior Immigration Lawyer specializing in corporate immigration. She helps companies and individuals navigate complex immigration matters, including Intracompany Transfers, CUSMA and other trade agreement applications, Labour Market Impact Assessments, and permanent residency. Her clients span Fortune 100 and 500 companies across the IT, finance, industrial, engineering, energy, manufacturing, communications, and professional services sectors. Vanessa also guides clients through immigration audits and ensures compliance with regulatory obligations.

Vanessa has represented clients before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board, as well as in judicial review applications and stay of removal motions before the Federal Court of Canada. She has regularly appeared before the Refugee Protection Division and successfully represented clients from Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South and Central America.

Vanessa obtained her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall and is a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, as well as a member of the Canadian Bar Association and Ontario Bar Association. While in law school, Vanessa served as a caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services in the Immigration Division. Vanessa also holds a Bachelor in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
